Our second title is in production.
The Vermilion Séance is set in 1920s Tokyo. Yuki, a medium with a brass ear-horn, descends into an underground séance parlor run by a masked society; Inspector Kuroda follows her down. Which spirit answers the call — Kitsune, Yurei or Tanuki — changes how the finale pays, and it is decided by fragments you collect on the way down.
The art direction is the mechanic
The whole game is monochrome ink — Junji Ito by way of ukiyo-e, brush and screen-tone. Vermilion appears on exactly one thing in the base game: the Seal, which is the wild. That restraint is a hard rule in the art brief rather than a preference, and it means the moment a second red thing appears on screen, you already know something has changed.
Two features, two shapes
The Nine Nights is a collect-then-spend round: spins continue while new tokens keep landing, then everything banked is unleashed across three fixed spins. The Binding is the opposite temperament — wards stick, reset the clock, and only reveal what they were carrying when the circle finally closes.
Both buys are priced identically, at 85×, and that is deliberate. They are not two price tiers of one feature. They are two different distributions, and you should pick based on the experience you want rather than the number you can afford.
